Stagecoach Trails truly is the best vacation destination. There is such a warmth from the family and staff that runs this ranch, that it parallels the warmth of the Arizona sunshine. They care about and truly take care of all guests in an individualized manner. The ranch itself is a perfect place to unplug and spend time with those you love. The food is so delicious. The pool is so nice and relaxing. The horseback riding is unbelievable with breathtaking rides to a variety of terrains, including a day trip into the mountains! Their motto is "you come as guests, but leave as family," and it shows in all they do. I would recommend this dude ranch 100/10! We will definitely be back.

This was a truly joyful experience. Our 20 year daughter asked for a ‘doing’ holiday and we hoped this would fit the bill. It did- in spades! We are novice riders and we walked, trotted and cantered (loped) with support and guidance. Between morning and evening rides we relaxed by pool, tried a bit of shooting (separate price), archery and pool table. Beautiful open skies- great sunsets and sunrises. Food was family orientated - wholesome and tasty. Feel privileged to have had such an experience. Went on to Grand Canyon and vegas- but this was the showstopper part of the tour for us all. I enjoyed being with my family for a week at this beautiful ranch. This ranch is homey and endlessly charming. We had a lot of little ones in our group, and they were accommodating for picky eaters and all the horse rides you can imagine. We also had some disabled family members, and this ranch continued to give us the best experience for everyone and make sure everyone could enjoy their time.

Beautiful ranch with 50 horses and riding for beginners and more advanced riders. Family friendly and comfortable rooms. The best activity I think is cowboy action shooting. Especially if you remember the Rifleman TV show. Truly a great experience. The guests are put at ease and we all sat around the outdoor fireplace sharing stories at night.

This was so awesome! The staff are amazing and fun and so accommodating! The food was excellent! There is always something for everyone to do, and the horses are all well trained! My younger brother who was with us has Down syndrome and the wranglers were amazing in helping with his horses! Incredible experience. Highly recommend!

Wagon Rides

For those wanting a slower pace enjoy a peaceful horse drawn wagon ride. Travel like the folks from the old west did and experience beautiful scenery.

Pioneer Wagon

Every dude ranch accommodation must include a covered wagon. Based on authentic 19th-century designs our Pioneer Wagon evokes Old Western ambiance that reminisce the pioneer days. These are one of the most unique lodging experiences you can enjoy. Furnished with a King size bed and 3 bunk beds, this wagon can comfortably sleep 5. The Pioneer Wagon is equipped with electricity, air conditioning and heat to provide you with comfortable overnight accommodations while still giving you the experience of sleeping under the stars. Private bathrooms and shower facilities are provided nearby or if you rent the room/wagon package you can share the bathroom facilities of the room. Family too large for just one room? Then rent a room and the wagon. These are fun for the entire family for an unforgettable experience.

Ranch Buyout

During these times of uncertainty many people are afraid to travel where other guests are around. When you stay in a hotel with other people it is hard not to have social interaction. The best way to get close to total privacy and control your environment is to have the whole place to yourself. Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch is available for an entire ranch buyout during your stay.

Overnight Pack Trips

For those guests staying 5 nights or longer you can ride into the mountains and camp out overnight. You will sleep under the stars in our beautiful pristine wilderness. See the Milky Way like you have never seen before. Enjoy dinner and breakfast cooked over a campfire. Hear the coyotes howl at night and feel what it was really like to be a cowboy out here in the Arizona desert. There is an extra charge for this activity and overnight pack trips must be booked ahead at time of reservation. (Extra Charge)

All-Day Mountain Ride

For those guests staying with us 7 nights or more we offer the all-day ride where you go deep into the Mohave mountains. You will have lunch in an old cattleman coral and then ride up to an ancient saguaro cactus for some incredible scenic views. During the summer (July-August) we shorten this to a breakfast ride lasting around 4 hours. (Free)

Activities on the Ranch

Stagecoach Trails has a variety of dude ranch activities besides horseback riding available throughout your stay. Head out for a Humvee ride or bike ride. You can choose to be in all of them, some of them, or none of them at all! That is entirely up to you. Many of our guests find that when they come to the ranch their favorite activity when not horseback riding or eating our home-cooked meals, quickly becomes just good old relaxation. Our guests often like to relax by the swimming pool, in the Frontier Lodge, their rooms, in the courtyard reading or just enjoying the Arizona sunshine, wildlife, sunset, or stars at night!

Learn how to barrel race in our barrel racing arena just like they do at the rodeos. See if you have what it takes to become a professional barrel racer. Our team of experts will teach you how its done then compete against your fellow riders in a timed event.
